Brian Green (born September 4, 1988) is a 6’1” SG from Kaysville, UT.

Utah State Career

2010-11 SEASON (SR): Served as the team’s primary three-point threat and spark off the bench during the best two-year stretch in school history, perfecting the reserve role enough so to earn second-team all-WAC honors during his senior season in 2011, the only non-starter to earn such honors… Appeared in 34 games, making one start during the season…Averaged a career-best 10.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game… Recorded 20 steals, fourth-most on the team… Went for 20 or more points four times, including a career-high of 25 points and six rebounds against San Jose State (1/27), and then followed up that performance with a 22-point outing against Hawaii to earn WAC Player of the Week honors on Jan. 31… Shot a team-best 46.9 percent from the three-point line, and shot 48.2 percent from the field, fourth-best on the team… Was also named the Most Valuable Player of the 2010 World Vision Invitational, hosted by Utah State, as he scored a then career-high 23 points against Troy in the championship game and averaged 15.3 points, 3.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds during the tournament, while shooting 57.7 percent from the field (15-26), 60.0 percent from three-point range (12-20) and 66.7 percent at the free throw line (4-6).

2009-10 SEASON (JR.): Was named to the WAC’s all-newcomer team in his first year at Utah State as he led the league in three-point shooting at 50.0 percent (53-106)… Finished the year averaging 7.6 points and 1.6 rebounds, while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 84.0 percent at the free throw line… Played an average of 17.6 minutes per game as he appeared in 34 contests during the season, starting the first three of the year… In WAC games, he averaged 8.8 points and shot 56.3 percent from the field (45-80), 63.3 percent from three-point range (31-49) and 91.7 percent at the free throw line (11-12)… Overall, he scored in double-figures eight times during the season, including a season-high 18 points against Boise State (3/11) in the quarterfinals of the WAC Tournament as he was 7-of-10 from the field and 4-of-6 from three-point range… Also tied his season-high with four rebounds against the Broncos… Made a season-high five three-pointers on seven attempts at Fresno State (1/21) as he finished the game with 17 points… Finished the year by scoring at least eight points in 12 of his final 17 games… Led the team in scoring four times during the season… Voted the Most Inspirational Player by his teammates, along with Tai Wesley.
