Utah State Career

2013-14 SEASON (SO): Played in 27 games, making 11 starts… Averaged 3.5 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game, while playing an average of 17.0 minutes per game… Shot 41.3 percent (33-of-80) from the field, including 30.0 percent (3-of-10) from three-point range, along with 68.4 percent (26-of-38) at the free throw line… Tied career-high with season-high eight assists against UC Santa Barbara (12/20/13), adding six assists in Southern Utah (11/12/13), Air Force (1/1/14) and Colorado State (2/11/14) games, five helpers against Western Illinois (12/19/13), along with four assists each against Mississippi State (11/23/13) and Pacific (12/7/13)… Made first start of the season in Utah Valley game (12/14/13), dishing out two assists to go with one point and one rebound… Tallied a season-high 13 points in the Pacific game (12/7/13), for only game in double-figure scoring this season and 10th of career… Distributed at least three assists 14 times this season, including seven of last 14 games played, as part of 33 times in career… Shot and made first three-pointer of the season in game against BYU (11/30/13), before adding two vs. Pacific (12/7/13), for his sixth multi-three-pointer game of career… Scored five or more points five times, while snaring three or more rebounds five times, including season-high of five boards against Troy (12/21/13), while posted four rebounds three times, against Southern Utah (11/12/13), UC Santa Barbara (12/20/13) and at Colorado State (2/11/14).

2012-13 SEASON (FR): One of five Aggies to play in all 31 games… Came off bench in first six games of season then started the remaining 25 games of the year… Averaged 7.1 points, 3.3 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game while seeing 27.3 minutes of action per contest… Led team in assists with 103 helpers (3.3 apg)… Shot 40.4 percent from the field (76-of-188), including 28.4 percent behind the arc (19-of-67), as well as netting 65.8 percent at the free throw line (50-of-76)… Ranked sixth in the WAC in assist-turnover ratio overall (1.51) and 11th in league games (1.48)… Was also seventh in overall assists (3.32) and fifth in league games (3.8)… Had breakout game against Western Oregon (12/8) with 21 points in only 20 minutes, topping previous single-game season high of eight points in three-pointers alone, draining first treys of the season and finished with three on the night, and nearly doubling season total of 11 points entering the game… The 21 points was the most scored by an Aggie during the season at the time and was the first 20-point game for a USU freshman since Tai Wesley in 2008… Made first career start in Utah Valley (12/15) game, tying game-high with 17 points, including a stretch where he scored 11 of USU’s points in a row… Scored first career point as an Aggie with a free throw in the TAMU-Corpus Christi (11/17) contest… Had nine double-figure scoring games for the season, latest with 12 points in Texas State (3/7) game that came on the heels of a team-high 15 points at UT Arlington (3/2)… Just missed two more postings with nine points against both New Mexico State (2/16) and Illinois State (2/23)… Distributed at least four assists in 15 of the last 24 games, included in that stretch were season-high of eight helpers against Illinois State (2/23) along with two games of his previous season-high seven assists, doing so against Nicholls State (12/20) and Seattle (1/3)… Also dished out six assists at Texas State (12/31) as well as in back-to-back home games against Denver (2/14) and New Mexico State (2/16), along with tallying five assists in home game vs. UTSA (3/9)… Dished out 93 assists in 25 games as a starter, averaging 3.7 helpers per game during that stretch, after totaling 10 assists in the first five games of the season off the bench (2.0 apg).
